Wā Whakahura
Ia Rāmere ka whakanui mātou ko ngā pōtiki i te Wā Whakahura. Anei ētahi whakaahua o ā mātou mahi inanahi. Pāia!
Every Friday this term Whānau Kiekie and Whānau Koromiko have Wā Whakahura (Discovery Time). Wā Whakahura is about exploring, learning and having fun through play. We also focus on a developing and practicing a different skill or value each week, this week it was Whanaungatanga.
Wā Whakahura activities include Tākaro Paruparu (messy play), Tunu Kai (cooking), Mahi Māra (gardening), Tinana Korikori (sports/games), iPapa (using the iPads to write), Mahi Toi (art), Tākaro Whakaata (dress-ups, performing) and Whakatūtū (construction).
