Mau Rākau Wānanga 2015
This week our Mau Rākau boys went to Whakatū Marae for our Taiaha Wānanga with Matua Solomon. It was awesome to see our 'Rangatira Āpōpō' accepting the challenges and becoming real leaders. We learnt new Hakas, karakia, played lots of cool kemu and heard lots of stories about our history. A massive thank you to Matua Solomon for sharing all of his knowledge with us. Ngā mihi to all of our mātua awhi, whose mahi allowed us more time to practice Mau Rākau.

Whakamarama mai
We have been learning to use papa Kupu to help us find words in our story that we don't know the meaning too.
